  • 225 gm Semolina
  • 15 gm Bengal Gram
  • 15 gm Split Black Gram
  • 50 gm Onion,chopped
  • 15 gm Peanuts
  • 5 gm Green Chilly, chopped
  • 5 gm Ginger, chopped
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • a few Coriander Leaves
  • a few Curry Leaves
  • 1/2 no Lime
  • 450 ml Water
  • 25 gm Oil
  • Salt to taste


  • Add oil in a pan, heat on medium flame and add mustard seeds, peanut, split black gram and Bengal gram till they turn slightly brown.
  • Add onion, ginger, green chilly and curry leaves and sauté for 5 mins or till onions are translucent.
  • Add suji to the mixture and stir continuously till it is slightly brown.
  • Now add warm water, salt and mix well and cook till suji is perfectly cooked. Then add a dash of lime juice
  • Stir gently and serve hot.
