  • 1/2 cup Masoor Dal
  • 1/2 cup Tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup Carrot, diced
  • 1/4 cup Onion, diced
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 2 tsp Garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • Salt to taste


  • Heat oil in a pan, add garlic, saute for 2 mins add onions, cook for 2 mins.
  • Add tomatoes, chilli powder. Cook for a few minutes.
  • Add Carrots, Masoor dal, water. Pressure cook for 3 whistles.
  • Cool, Blend it to a paste.
  • Add paste in a pan, add water if required. Add lemon juice & salt, simmer for a few minutes. Serve hot.
